Tulisa Contostavlos Faces Investigation Over Tv Complaint
Singer Tulisa Contostavlos is facing an investigation from Britain's broadcasting standards watchdog after she was accused of promoting her perfume on U.K. series The X Factor.
Officials at TV watchdog Ofcom have received complaints that the N-Dubz star purposely plugged her perfume by flashing her 'The Female Boss' tattoo at the start of the show before taking her place on the judging panel alongside Kelly Rowland, Gary Barlow and Louis Walsh.
Contostavlos launched her first fragrance, The Female Boss, in the U.K. last month (Oct11).
The regulatory body is set to launch an official probe to determine whether Contostavlos' signature gesture at the start of each programme is in breach of regulations about product promotion on TV.
