Jennifer Aniston Dodges Brad Pitt On Cinema Outing
Jennifer Aniston us most likely still smarting from comments Brad Pitt made about their marriage a couple of months ago, with the 47 year-old - now married to Angelina Jolie - stating back in September to Parade magazine, "It became very clear to me that I was intent on trying to find a movie about an interesting life, but I wasn't living an interesting life myself. I think that my marriage had something to do with it." So it's just as well that the pair managed to miss each other by just five minutes at a recent film showing of Martin Scorsese film 'Hugo' in Hollywood's ArcLight Cinema, reports Us Magazine.
Pitt was there for a 2pm showing with four of his children - Maddox, 10, Pax, 8, Zahara, 6, and Shiloh, 5 - with wife Jolie also in attendance. Upon the film finishing the family then headed off to their car just as Aniston turned up with boyfriend Justin Theroux; the pair had skipped on buying popcorn and instead headed straight in for a later showing of the same film - and missed the Pitt-Jolies by a matter of minutes.
Pitt and Aniston have only been in the same place together twice since their divorce in 2005; at the Academy Awards in 2009 and at 2010's 'Hope For Haiti' telethon. It's believed that they're not on speaking terms, with a source telling Us Weekly back in September "she will always think of him as a jerk."
