The 'Talk' host - who recently called time on her 10-year relationship with long-term partner Allison Adler - was seen with the musician and producer over the weekend, and the pair locked hands as they left a West Hollywood grocery store together.
However, this isn't the first time the duo have been spotted in close confines of each other, as they were also photographed together at the 40th anniversary gala for the Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Center.
It is also thought that Sara and Linda spent the Thanksgiving holiday together last week, as they stocked up on groceries prior to the event.
Last Wednesday (23.11.11), Linda tweeted: "Grocery shopping with @THEsaragilbert. Her contribution: breaking the balsamic vinegar trying to figure out if she had spotted Bill Cosby."
Sara currently shares custody of son Levi, six, and four-year-old daughter Sawyer with long-time girlfriend Allison.
She has previously said of their time together: "'I've never been married, but I was in a long relationship. It's emotional for me, because we're not together. I wouldn't trade that time, it's such a special time in my life. But then you see people in their 70s and you wonder how do they do it?
"How do they make it last? And I would like to think that I can. I will say that we have beautiful children together, a lot of love for each other. You do continue in to the next chapter together in a different way."
