Anton Du Beke
NANCY DELL'OLIO has been working hard since last weekend's narrow escape from eviction from reality show 'Strictly Come Dancing;' in fact so committed is the Italian-American property lawyer that she's even been missing out on the chance to meet royalty.
The Metro reports that after she and dance partner Anton Du Beke found themselves in the bottom two, following a sub standard tango, Dell'Olio took her male counterpart to task and the two had a spectacular falling out behind the scenes. A source said "Nancy was having a good old moan about Anton - saying he thinks the show is all about him. Clearly they both have enormous egos, but she wants him to realise that she is the star and his job is to get her through each week. She is finding some of the steps he chooses too difficult, but he enjoys doing them so he keeps them in."
However, since then the pair have apparently redoubled their efforts, meaning that Dell'Olio turned up so late to a gathering at the Chelsea home of RICHARD BRIGGS and his wife BASIA following practise that she missed out on the chance to meet PRINCE MICHAEL OF KENT - the Royal having already gone home.
The Daily Telegraph reports, the ex of former England boss SVEN GORAN ERIKSSON saying "I wanted to meet him, but the BBC, they work you like slaves. I'm sure the Prince watches Strictly." If so, he may not be watching her for much longer if she doesn't improve upon last weekend.
