Susan Boyle Album Inspired By Fan Letters
Scottish singing sensation Susan Boyle is so touched by personal letters from her fans, she used them as inspiration for her latest album.
The I Dreamed A Dream hitmaker is regularly sent notes from her followers, and she admits the cover versions on her upcoming third record, Someone to Watch Over Me, have a special meaning.
She tells Britain's Daily Record newspaper, "There are certain songs that I liked that resonated with the letters that people had written and sent to me. I knew that's what my record needed to be about.
"They wrote about grief, love, happy and sad times, it was all deeply moving and the songs mirror the emotion and life experience. I find music in many ways an easier way to communicate than just talking to people."
Boyle has included songs such as The Righteous Brothers' Unchained Melody and Mad World by Tears for Fears on the album, which is released next month (Nov11).
