Little Mix's Perrie Edwards Dating One Direction Star
Perrie Edwards looks like she might be walking away from The X Factor with something at least, even if her girl group Little Mix don't go all the way and win the 2011 competition. It's been revealed that Edwards has snagged One Direction star Zayn Malik - one quarter of last year's third placers One Direction.
Little Mix have impressed judges and fans alike in their run to the semi finals of the UK's singing contest, never really looking in danger of dropping out of the competition even as it reaches the business end. Their success has meant they've collaborated with other contestants on a cover of 'Wishing On A Star' in aid of charity - and OK! Magazine reports that it's here Edwards and Malik spent the day together and grew closer. What's great news for Edwards and Malik however is sad news, apparently, for fellow 1D member Niall Horgan who is reportedly besotted with the 18 year-old girl group member; let's hope that doesn't lead to tensions in the camp.
Horgan can at least take solace from the fact that, following his group's third place in last year's competition, their debut album 'Up All Night' went in at number 2 on the UK Album Charts a couple of weeks ago with its lead off single 'What Makes You Beautiful' going in at number 1 on the Singles chart.
