Nirvana - Military Wives Rocket To The Top Of Britain's Christmas Chart
A choir of military wives has scored this year's (11) coveted number one spot in the British Christmas pop chart after beating Nirvana's Smells Like Teen Spirit re-release and reality TV stars Little Mix to the top.
The Military Wives Choir's Wherever You Are scorched to number one when the chart was announced on Christmas Day (25Dec11).
The tune was a big hit among shoppers in the days leading up to Christmas, and sold a staggering 556,000 copies to become the fastest-selling U.K. single in six years.
