Carey Mulligan To Star In "Inside Llewyn Davis"
She's quickly become one of Hollywood's most in-demand actresses, and now Carey Mulligan is ready to take on her next project - the starring role in the new Coen brothers project, "Inside Llewyn Davis."
According to Variety, the "Pride & Prejudice" actress will take the lead in the film, which is said to center on a musician trying to make it in the Big Apple music scene of the 1960s.
While the depth of her character remains to be seen, it is known that Carey will appear opposite Oscar Isaac when the movie begins production in February 2012.
Additionally, Mulligan is said to be in negotiations to star alongside Joaquin Phoenix in a yet-to-be titled piece helmed by Spike Jonze and written by Charlie Kaufman.
