Will Young is looking for a boyfriend but doesn't want a man who will try and look after him.
Will Young doesn't want a boyfriend who does all the domestic chores.
The openly gay singer - who is currently single - is trying to improve his household skills and he insists he doesn't want to date someone who wants to look after him.
He said: "I'm not domesticated at all but I want to be. I'm embracing that side of things. I'm too independent to have a boyfriend do it for me. I have to be in control of everything.
"If people come round for dinner, I have to put everything in bowls, it's a bit OCD but I can't cope. But I'm ready. I am ready to do all those things, because they're relaxing. It's a great way of switching off."
The 'Come On' singer also admitted his domestic life has "completely changed" since he purchased an Aga cooking range for his holiday home in Cornwall, South West England.
He told BANG Showbiz: "I've got an Aga in Cornwall and that completely changed everything. My friend was like, 'It says an hour and a half,' and I'm like, 'No, no, it'll be half an hour. Half an hour or 40 minutes, there's no in-between."
