Nicola Roberts had to rescue Cheryl Cole's phone from a toilet.
The 'Lucky Day' singer believes she is a "true friend" to her Girls Aloud bandmate because she wasn't afraid to help her pal out when disaster struck on a night out.
She said: "Cheryl dropped her phone down the toilet once and I had to get it out for her.
"We'd gone to the loo together and the next thing I heard was, 'Nicola!' And I thought, 'Bloody hell', so I went in there and got it out for her. Now that's true friendship for you."
As well as her bandmates, Nicola is very close to her two dogs but says she has different relationships with each.
She told more! magazine: "I love having pictures of me and the dogs. When I'm away, I can look at them and fawn over them.
"I miss them terribly. They've got little personalities. Like, one of them things he's my boyfriend and one thinks he's my son. We've got that going on."
