O'connor Targeted By Email Hackers
Newlywed singer Sinead O Connor has been targeted by internet pranksters who hacked into her email account and sent messages to her contacts.
The Nothing Compares 2 U hitmaker, who married fourth husband Barry Herridge in Las Vegas on Thursday (08Dec11), has warned friends and fans that her email account has been improperly accessed.
O'Connor was quick to contact all those who had received the online correspondence, urging them to "ignore" any unusual emails.
In a post on her blog, she writes, "Dear friends... My Yahoo email account has been hacked so anyone receiving emails from it please ignore them."
The star also thanked devotees who had congratulated her on her nuptials, adding, "Thanks again to everyone who sent good wishes on the wedding. Very much appreciated. Rock n Roll!"
