The Spike TV Guys' Awards are in their sixth year, and for the sixth year in a row the red carpet was dominated by sexy celebrity ladies. Yep, the show that pays homage to the "year in Guydom" is all about the girl power.
Of course, this is no accident. The event's described as a "star-studded event featuring what guys want, including innovative and creative categories and a bevy of foxy trophy ladies."
It then makes sense that Julianne Hough and Malin Akerman wore their hottest LBDs to the show Saturday night, while Kristen Bell posed more with pal Mila Kunis than fiance Dax Shepard. Brooke Hogan didn't even need a pal. She rocked the red carpet with the help of her very blonde hair and very tan skin.
Ladies weren't just red carpet eye candy, Spike TV's 6th Annual 2012 though. Four of the 14 award categories were for women! Kate Upton won Our New Girlfriend, Emma Stone was handed the Hot and Funny antler trophy, Zooey Deschanel beat Zoe Saldana for the Hottest Zo(O)e(y) prize, and Kate Beckinsale scored the Jean-Claude Gahd Dam award. Beckinsale and Stone were the only female winners present to accept the honors, however.
Adam Sandler, Jeremy Renner, Mark Wahlberg, and the guys of Old School were among the men to take the stage. Justin Timberlake got up to accept his Entertainer of the Year prize while Guy of the Year, Brad Pitt, was a no-show. Andy Samberg, who just announced his decision not to return to Saturday Night Live, was a presenter.
