While Leslie Carter's reason behind death was an evident overdose of pharmaceuticals, the 25-year-old's hassle with depression was a protracted time within the creating.
It stemmed in giant half from the actual fact that "She thought she would become ensuing famous Carter sibling," says a supply who once managed her brothers.
In Leslie's case, though signed to DreamWorks Records, stardom eluded her.
Backstreet Boys singer Nick, of course, became terribly successful, as did younger brother Aaron. Leslie (below, right) felt nice pressure to follow in their footsteps.

"She was continuously very happy for her brothers, do not get me wrong," says the supply, in an interview with individuals magazine. "But it absolutely was powerful for her."
According to sources near the family, Leslie remained supportive of her brothers. At numerous family events, she would happily seem alongside them.
When all 5 siblings signed on for the E! show House of Carters, Leslie was an enthusiastic participant. "She very loved the eye," says the supply.
But consistent with a police report, Leslie's stepmother, Ginger, stated that Leslie "had a history of mental illness and was on medication for her depression."
Life within the Carter family was nearly continuously chaotic.
In 2003, Aaron Carter went up to now on file for legal emancipation from his mother, Jane Carter, when accusing her of mismanaging his cash.
The next year, Jane Carter was arrested and charged with battery in an alleged attack on her estranged husband's then-girlfriend, Ginger Elrod.
In 2005, huge brother Nick was arrested for DUI in Southern California.
In 2008, 20-year-old Aaron was charged with marijuana possession.
Leslie, who was married and contains a one-year-old daughter, remained near each brothers, however felt increasingly lost in her own life. Says the source:
"This could be a family who has had plenty of issues. At any given time, I did not understand who was talking to who, who was in hassle, who was clean."
Leslie (she was estranged from her husband) was living along with her father, Robert, in Buffalo N.Y., as she tried to wean herself off of medication.
Tragically, she could not in time.
Three prescription bottles were found at the scene were she was unresponsive: Olanzapine, used to treat schizophrenia and/or bipolar disorder, the muscle relaxant Cyclobenzaprine, and also the anxiety medication Xanax.
