Demi Lovato
Treating her fans to a brand new track as she readies for her album's nearing release, Demi Lovato has debuted her collaboration of “All Night Long” featuring Missy Elliott and Timbaland.
Talking about the track with MTV News, the 19-year-old dished, “It’s about staying up all night long and singing it to the boy that you like, and it’s flirty and fun and it’s not too grown-up, but it’s grown-up enough."
As for her Unbroken album due out next week, Demi's forthcoming opus features plenty of other big name collaborations with help from the likes of Ryan Tedder, Toby Gad and Jason Derulo, as well as Demi’s own personal signature style,
And lyrically, Demi doesn’t hold back. On “Fix a Heart” she declares, "You must be a miracle worker/ Swearing up and down you can fix what's broken/ Please don't get my hopes up, baby/ How can you be so cruel?/ It's like you're pouring salt on my cuts."
“Who’s That Boy” shows Lovato’s flirty side- "I've been staring at ya/ And I could do it all night/ You're looking like an angel/ With the kind of body that needs a spotlight."
All in all, the critics are fairly happy with Unbroken. One reviewer aptly surmised, “[It’s] an album that balances feel-good party jams with deeply personal tracks about struggling with identity and love.”
