After two sub-par seasons and one time change, TBS has announced the cancellation of George Lopez's late-night talk show, "Lopez Tonight."

Upon its sudden decision, the network released a statement: “TBS has reached the difficult decision not to order a third season of 'Lopez Tonight.'"

They added, “We are proud to have partnered with George Lopez, who is an immensely talented comedian and entertainer. TBS has valued its partnership with George and appreciates all of his work on behalf of the network, both on and off the air."

The show, which previously moved from 11 p.m. to midnight to accommodate Conan O'Brien's arrival, will take to the airwaves for the last time on Thursday, August 11.
