Anna Paquin

Anna Paquin is naked for like 75% of every True Blood episode, but she wasn't always so comfortable showing off her stuff.

The actress, who recently revealed that she is expecting twins, told Redbook magazine that she actually had to go out and buy a skimpy outfit when she auditioned for the vampy HBO drama. “I’m a big believer in ‘fake it to make it,'" Paquin says in the August issue. "I went out and bought some incredibly short shorts and a push-up bra that I knew were going to be a part of my new life. It’s not that I’m a prude, but I’m not a massive exhibitionist, either.”

And how does she feel about those racy True Blood sex scenes — especially when they aren't with her real life husband Stephen Moyer? “We feel completely comfortable together," Paquin says of getting hot and heavy with co-star Alexander Skarsgard. "Steve [Moyer] and Alex are buddies. It's nothing like, ‘Oh, hi, nice to meet you. Now let’s take off our clothes and go into the fog.’ Everyone is very respectful of each other’s boundaries...They’re all very gentlemanly about it.”

• Awkward. premieres its second season tonight on MTV at 10:30pm. If you haven't checked out this delightful little comedy staring Ashley Rickards yet, I highly recommend giving it a whirl. It's fresh, witty, touching, and filled with top-notch performances from some very funny young stars. At the very least you'll pick up some brand new slang.
