Kim Kardashian To Earn $600,000 For New Year Appearance At Tao Nightclub
On New Year's Eve, Kim Kardashian will make the first of a series of public appearances at TAO nightclub on the Las Vegas strip, according to a report on MSN's 'Today Entertainment' site. Tickets to the event cost between $175 and $225. In 2011, Kim Kardashian filmed a number of scenes inside the club for her reality TV show.
The Las Vegas nightlife expert Jack Colton was quoted as saying that "the average New Year's Eve fee for relevant talent is $100,000. An A-List celebrity moves up to $250,000 and for a major grab can go as high as $1 million. Your Lady Gaga's and Jay Z's would be considered major grabs. Over the road, Kim's brother Rob Kardashian will be cashing in on his Dancing with the Stars fame by hosting the New Year's entertainment at the Tryst Nightclub across the road. Other stars appearing on the strip that night include Axl Rose, with his latest incarnation of GUNS 'N' ROSES, who will be playing at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.
Kim Kardashian and her family made headlines recently when they were accused of using Chinese 'sweatshop' factories to manufacture the clothes for their Kardashian family-branded clothing lines. Kim's mother, Kris Jenner, however, insists that the factories they use are patrolled to check for any violations of workers' rights.
