Kelly Osbourne Praised By Giuliana Rancic

Giuliana Rancic has praised 'Fashion Police' co-star Kelly Osbourne for helping her through her breast cancer battle.

Kelly Osbourne has been praised for helping her close pal Giuliana Rancic through her cancer battle.

Giuliana - who stars on 'Fashion Police' with Kelly - explained the 27-year-old star has bombarded her with twitter messages, words of inspiration and flowers as she prepared to undergo a double mastectomy and reconstructive surgery earlier this month following her diagnosis with breast cancer.

She told HollywoodLife.com: "Kelly was so incredibly supportive through all of this. I remember from the beginning she kept tweeting all of these messages of love and inspiration: 'You're an inspiration. I love you. Stay Strong. Good luck on your surgery.'

"All my surgeries, everything she's always sent me emails and tweeted, every single time I'd got through anything. She sent me this gorgeous orchid. It's sitting in my kitchen right now on the windowsill. It's so pretty. Last time she sent me another bouquet of flowers. I almost felt bad. I was like I have to stop getting surgeries because poor Kelly Osbourne is sending me all these flowers."

Giuliana revealed her cancer has made her realise how protective Kelly -whose mother Sharon previously battled breast cancer - is of her friends.

She said: "She is very loving like that. One thing I learned about Kelly is she's incredibly protective of her friends. Last time before I left, she was like, 'Let me give you names of my mom's doctors and scar revision people.' She was emailing me all of this information.

"I would go to 'Fashion Police' every week while I was going through this. Kelly was so sweet. I really didn't know much about her mom's journey with breast cancer until Kelly told me one day on the set. She was like, 'You know my mother went through this' - and she told me about her trials and what she had to go through."
