Rochelle Wiseman feared she would be unable to have children after she was diagnosed with an ovarian cyst.

Rochelle Wiseman feared she was unable to have children.

The Saturdays singer - who is dating JLS star Marvin Humes - feared the worst when she was diagnosed with a cyst on her ovaries earlier this year, but underwent a successful operation that hasn't damaged her fertility.

She admitted: "I was really scared. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to have babies. It's every woman's first thought in a situation like that - but I had a really good doctor who put me at ease.

"I was scared about the operation but I just wanted to get it over with and make sure I was healthy. I'm sure I'll be fine now, but to be sure I have to be checked out regularly."

Rochelle and Marvin split for two months last year before getting back together and the pop star now believes the break made them stronger than ever.

She said in an interview with the Daily Mirror newspaper: "I think everyone has a stage when something like that happens. It's not a big deal. We got back together because we didn't want to let go of what we had."

The 22-year-old beauty's bandmate Una Healy is currently expecting her first child with her rugby player boyfriend Ben Foden and Rochelle revealed all the group plan to be by their friend's side when she gives birth.

Rochelle - who is also joined in the band by Mollie King, Frankie Sandford and Vanessa White - said: "I'm not ready to have kids yet, but I'm setting my sights on being the best aunt to Una's baby. We'll all be at the birth. I might have to run out once she starts pushing though as I'm very squeamish."
