The reality TV star has emerged as the frontrunner to win the final of the ballroom show tonight (22.11.11) after he topped the leader board with 30 points for his freestyle dance, which saw him lift and twirl professional partner Cheryl Burke over his head, and 27 points for his waltz.
Judge Len Goodman told Rob - who had his sister Kim Kardashian cheering him on in the audience - his family should be "proud" of his efforts.
He explained: "You've just given your all. You should be proud. Your family should be proud."
J.R. Martinez shook off an injured right ankle to score a pair of 10s with partner Karina Smirnoff for their hip-hop inspired dance, which led panellist Carrie Ann Inaba to predict they would be "safe", despite only scoring 24 points for his cha cha.
Len added: "Two things were revealed - Karina's body and your talent."
Ricki Lake and her partner Derek Hough - who managed a perfect score on last week's show - were awarded 27 points for their freestyle dance, followed by a 27-point cha-cha-cha, which saw Bruno Tonioli praise the pair's efforts.
He said: "You've never been hotter, you've never been sexier!"
