Phillip Schofield and Christine Bleakley are organising a dinner together to bond ahead of their 'Dancing On Ice' partnership.

The duo - who will present the ITV1 celebrity skating show when it returns to screens in January - are getting together with their respective partners, Stephanie Lowe and footballer Frank Lampard, to work on their chemistry before the series launches.

Phillip told BANG Showbiz: "I jumped at the opportunity to work with Christine. It's actually going very well.

"We've been working together before the 'Dancing On Ice' partnership was even announced. We've got together doing interviews, photoshoots, we've seen each other two or three times and we've just organised dinner. All four of us though, partners as well - it's nothing like that!"

As well as Phillip and Christine - who takes over from Holly Willoughby after she quit the series to front new BBC One talent show 'The Voice' - working together on ITV1's new charity initiative 'Text Santa', they are also planning an interesting 'Dancing On Ice' debut.

After seeing the success of Dermot O'Leary's intro dances on this series of 'The X Factor', the pair joked that they are planning something similar on the ice.

Speaking at the launch of 'Text Santa' at London's House of St. Barnabas earlier today (24.11.11), Phillip said: "We were talking to Dermot today about opening the series with a skate. I've done a bit of skating, but I'm a bit stumbly."

Christine added: "I think I've been ice skating so far all of twice in my life and that was when I was under the age of 10, which was many years ago."

The pair will present the live launch of 'Text Santa' - which will raise funds for a number of British charities - following the 'X Factor' final on December 11.

Ant and Dec will then host a three-hour telethon on Christmas Eve (24.12.11).
