Lindsay Lohan Turns Up On Time To Community Service At Second Time Of Asking

Lindsay Lohan is still teetering on the edge of not completing her required 16 hours of community service before a hearing on November 2nd, yet at least yesterday (October 21st) she turned up on time to the morgue where she will be undertaking her penance. The day before she'd arrived late and was subsequently turned away.

It's been a topsy-turvy week for Lohan, still trying to press on through her 360 hours community service given for two drunk driving arrests in 2007 and a misdemeanour theft that occurred earlier this year. On Wednesday 19th Judge STEPHANIE SAUTNER revoked her probation following news that she'd been fired from the Downtown Women's Center for showing up late and sometimes not at all, reports The Associated Press. Placed back in handcuffs and led away, she later paid the $100,000 bail and was released.

Working at the morgue the next day, Lohan turned some 40 minutes later than the 8am start that had been asked of her, another blow in her attempts to complete the sentence. However, the Herald Tribune reported that yesterday the actress finally made it on time, with her publicist STEVE HONIG writing in an email that she'd turned up an hour before the morgue opened at 7am.

During her time there, the 25 year-old will be expected to mop floors, clean and stock bathrooms, and wash dirty sheets - a far cry from the other week when E! Online revealed that she was to be the new face of fashion designer PHILIPP PLEIN's new clothing line.
