Carrie Ann Inaba Weighs In On Dancing Feud

Carrie Ann Inaba has weighed in on what's been a difficult week for Dancing With The Stars, defending her fellow judges as well as subtly putting the fiery professional Maksim Chmerkovskiy in his place on Twitter.

Things heated up at the weekend after the Ukrainian dancer crossed swords with judge Len Goodman following what he perceived to be inconsistencies in the scoring. He and celebrity partner, soccer player Hope Solo, received a mediocre 20 out of 30 and only Chaz Bono and his partner Lacey Schwimmer were between the pair getting eliminated from the competition the following night. Inaba took to the social networking site in the wake of Monday's show to say, "Fyi: Everyone has different abilities on Dwts, every journey is unique to each contestant and everyone's ten looks slightly different. Another Fyi: I forgive you because you don't know better- scores are locked in before we speak. So we have scored before any words spoken..I pass the paper with the scores. Before we speak".

Inaba was also on Facebook on Tuesday (October 25th) subtly reminding Chmerkovskiy that it wasn't merely "his show," as he'd allegedly told OnTheRedCarpet.com previously. The judge added, "It's a group effort through and through," she said, adding, "I'm sorry for the disrespect all our crew and staff were shown last night. A Television Show is made by not only the people On Camera but the exceptional people who are behind the scenes, making everything just right so that when on camera talent steps on to the stage, it's safe and sound....and just right. Thank you to everyone who works on Dwts!"
